Known for his expertise increating accessible, evidence-based educational content, Mike collaborates with clinicians and healthcare organizations to advance patient care. His work focuses on practical strategies for managing high-risk populations, witha particular emphasis on COVID-19, influenza, and respiratory illnesses.

Professor David Strain

BSc Hons, MB ChB, MD, FRCP

Professor David Strain, BSc Hons, MB ChB, MD, FRCPis a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Exeter Medical School and a Consultant Physician specializing in diabetes and COVID-19 care. He previously served as the Clinical Lead for COVID-19 Services in Exeter and is the Chair of the British Medical Association’s Board of Science. With extensive experience in managing high-risk populations, Prof. Strain is also a recognized advocate for evidence-based strategies in post-viral illness care, including Long COVID. His research focuses on proactive healthcare approaches, ensuring that vulnerable patients receive timely, effective interventions.
