Objectives

Through completing this course students will:

  • Review the normal cardiorespiratory response to exercise and the pathophysiology of PF and Severe Asthma.

  • Understand exercise and its role in managing Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF) and Severe Asthma, and the special considerations when participating in an exercise program.

  • Review the difference between controlled and uncontrolled asthma, severe asthma and exercise induced bronchoconstriction (EIB).
