Objectives

Distinguish between RSV, pneumococcal disease, influenza, and COVID-19 in terms of causative agents, transmission, and general epidemiology.
Interpret the current recommendations for each vaccine, including target populations and dosing schedules.
Discuss the vaccine effectiveness and safety to allow for a benefit: risk discussion for vaccination.
Summarize strategies to address vaccine hesitancy in a patient who is a candidate for respiratory vaccines.
Discuss a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach to increasing respiratory vaccine uptake.
