Jean Bourbeau is the Director of the Research Institute MUHC's Center for Innovative Medicine, the COPD Clinic and the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Unit at the MUHC Montreal Chest Institute. He has been President of the Canadian Thoracic Society. His work and research on COPD, pulmonary rehabilitation, integrated self-management programs for patients with COPD ('Living Well with COPD') have had an impact not only in the field of research, but also in clinical practice at the national and international level.

Dr. Kim Lavoie, PhD, FCPA, FABMR

Dr. Kim Lavoie, co Lead of the International Behavioural Trials Network (IBTN), holds the Chair of Behavioural Medicine at the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM) and is a researcher in the Chronic Disease Research Division at Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal. She is a Full Professor in the Department of Psychology at UQAM and an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at University of Montreal, and she is an internationally recognized expert in motivational communication.

Becky Zucco, BSc

Becky Zucco is an exercise physiologist with over 24 years’ experience in chronic disease rehabilitation. She is the founder of OneLife Health, an organization providing prevention, rehabilitation and education services for the long-term management of chronic disease. She has written, published, and taught education courses helping patients and individuals to become better informed of the impact of lifestyle on health.

  • Is this course validated by any official organization?

    Yes, it is validated by various Kinesiology Associations, such as CSEP/ACSM, canfitpro, ACE Fitness, CKA and all provincial associations.

  • Do I get CEC (Continuous Education Credits) with this course?

    CECs are offered depending on the length of the course. The Exercise professional course is valid for 10 hours worth of credits.

  • Do I get a certificate after finishing the course?
